You will need to complete at least 10 hours of training, the Biennial Flight Review can be included in this timeframe.
You will need to fill out a preliminary application through MedXPress. Information on how to complete this can be found at https://www.faa.gov/licenses_certificates/medical_certification/get Next, the FAA has deemed that all potential pilots undergo an exam from a certified Aviation Medical Examiner (AME). We can provide you with a list of local AMEs or you can search for you own through the following link: https://www.faa.gov/pilots/amelocator You will only require a Third Class Medical Certificate for your Private Pilot's License. If you are over 40, the certificate is good for 2 years. If you are under 40, the certificate is good for 5 years.

We currently offer 2 models of airplanes for training, the Cessna 172 and Cessna 150. The Cessna 172 is the most popular model of airplane around the world. A general overview can be found here, but please contact our office for any questions regarding our specific models.
The estimated cost to complete your Private Pilot License (PPL) training ranges from $15,000 to $20,000. The Instrument Rating program is approximately $30,000, and the Commercial Pilot License program is about $62,500. Training is billed hourly, so actual costs may vary based on your pace and flight experience.
You will need to complete a total of at least 40 hours flight instruction. Additionally, you will have to pass an FAA written test and an oral and practical flight test with an FAA examiner.
If you are a US citizen, in order to get started we will need you to bring in a current passport or birth certificate and a photo ID. We currently offer training for the Private Pilot's License, Instrument Rating, Certified Flight Instructor. We are also able to provide Biennial Flight Reviews, and Instrument Proficiency Checks.
